Conroy Harris is currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of abandofbrothers, a role which he has occupied for two years. This position has enabled Conroy to bring influence and direction to an organisation that works within the criminal justice system, providing a Rites of Passage based mentoring programme to young men aged 18-25.

Conroy has a background in mental health, working in the voluntary sector for over 25 years. During that time, he trained as a group facilitator, running Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) groups, he also became a renowned trainer of various courses within the voluntary sector covering topics such as equality, inclusion and diversity, challenging behaviour, and CBT and managing depression. Conroy then went on to train as a Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) teacher, trainer and supervisor with Oxford Mindfulness Centre which is part of Oxford University.

Conroy is now also working with Olivier Mythodrama as a Coach, is training in shadow work psychotherapy with HealingtheShadow, and is currently developing a new and innovative approach to Equality, Inclusion and Diversity training, which has been a lifelong passion.
