Joy Richardson

Joy joined Olivier Mythodrama in 2013. Prior to that she worked for several years with Olivier Mythodrama’s sister company Contender Charlie, delivering training on personal development, public speaking and the plays of Shakespeare.

Most recently Joy has designed her own programmes, for the University of Oxford, specialising in Presence work, Public Speaking and Personal Development.

As an actor, Joy was also a member of the inaugural company at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, and performed in The Winter’s Tale. She has worked extensively in productions at the RSC, The National Theatre, the West End, film and television.

Having obtained an Acting degree at Webber Douglas Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Joy went on to complete a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing from Kellogg College Oxford, and is currently a Fellow of Kellogg College Oxford, and Artist in Residence.
