The problem

This global automotive manufacturer needed to shift the mindset of their new Vice Presidents from siloed experts to managers of multiple disciplines and more complex problems.

They also needed to bring the group together to support each other moving forward to achieve sustainable growth.

 

The solution

We developed a five-day leadership programme based on the story of The Tempest for 15 VPs, to examine their personal leadership styles. The programme explored transformational leadership, helping the VPs identify how their strengths serve their roles while addressing blind spots that may hinder their effectiveness.  

Additionally, the programme aimed to foster a supportive peer network among the cohort for ongoing mentorship and growth. 

The result

The impact of this program has been so profound that we now collaborate with them annually to deliver it. Participants have even lobbied the board to revise policies that were highlighted during the training. According to feedback, participants feel a deeper connection to the company and their peers – something that was previously lacking. So far, three VPs who completed the training have become board members.
